Stein's 1900 is considered his top wine, coming from a tiny parcel of ungrafted Riesling vines planted in the year 1900. That's a 120 year old vines, coming from a steep slate hill in the middle of the village of Alf. Always fermented as a Feinherb (off-dry), this wine is a powerhouse, capable of decades of aging. The old and the new Mosel all in one. Native fermentation, no chaptilization, perfect grapes and simply a magnificent wine from 2019 which for Mosel Feinherbs is considered to be one of the best vintages ever. Yes, ever!
