Orange wine from the legendary Radikon. In 2016 this domain has undergone a big transition, with the death of father Stanko and son Sasa taking over. Stanko was known to be an extremist, releasing his wines very, very late. Son Sasa, whom we met in New York in 2019, releases the wines a little younger, doing shorter skin macerations making the wines more a little more approachable at young age.
What makes this wine extra rare is that this is a 2014, made with father Stanko still at the realm and aged for almost 7 years now. True Friuli (the Italian region) orange wine, in it's highest possible quality. We love this wine.
