An amazing, full bodied Beaujolais from the village of Brouilly, by bojo samurai Jean-Claide Lapalu. From the warm and perfect vintage of 2015. Alma Mater is his absolute top cuvée, which was fermented and ripened in amphora. Afterwards there's another 7-10 months in neutral oak 1000L foudre. This is a powerhouse, a wine that actively reminds you of how close Beaujolais is to the Rhône.
