Domfront is the only protected appellation in France for poiré or pear cider. Even though you could have fooled us easily in a blind tasting by saying that this is a wine. Clear and white in the glass, beautifully effervescent. With a slight bitter and slight sweetness hinting you might be drinking anything else than a beautiful light bubble.

And it's fully natural as well, coming from old orchard of over 200 year old(!) high pear trees, then fermented on its native yeasts and bottled without sulfur. It's alive, clean, refreshing, affordable and with only 4,5% also low in alcohol.
