A very, very special bottle. Imported especially upon our request and for ASOP Wines only: the still ciders of Antoine Marois. While Antoine already has proven himself as our favorite French cidermaker, all his ciders so far were all sparkling. While we roam through the world of cider, some of the best examples we've had were still ciders. When we mentioned this to our importer he told us that Antoine Marois actually bottles one cider under cork: cidre tranquille.

No bubbles, just pure, light, refreshing cider. This is why the Germans call cider Apfelwein, because that's how this drinks, like apple wine.
